Age of Empires II is a real-time strategy game, set
in antiquity around the year 500, where you’ll have to convert your
civilization into an empire.
At the beginning, Age of Empires II shows you a
total of 13 civilizations to choose from based on real colonization of
that time. Each of them has unique units and buildings, although others
have similar functions. Analyze the pros and cons of each one to be able
to choose the one that is best suited to your strategy.
You must become an excellent strategist to advance through the four
ages in which history develops: Middle Ages, Feudal, age of Castles and
Imperial. With each advancement you achieve, conquering different
peoples and fulfilling the missions encountered you’ll unlock
technological advances.
Each game will be unique. Age of Empires II has a
new graphics engine that randomly generates each map on which the
adventure will be played, so history will never repeat itself. The
terrains are varied with large canyons, mountains, grass ranges,
forests, deserts, etc.
